From Zero to Zapdos: The AI-Fueled Journey of a UK Nostalgia Addict-Turned-Shopkeeper

Hey there! I’m just a regular person from the UK who got hit with a wave of childhood nostalgia and thought,
"You know what? I miss Pokémon cards..."
So, naturally, I dove back into the world of TCG collecting—only to be greeted by price tags that made me question my life choices.

Seriously, when did cardboard get more expensive than rent?

Instead of walking away, I did something that might be a bit bold (or mildly unhinged):
I decided to build my own online TCG and collectibles shop, powered almost entirely by Artificial Intelligence, to keep things fair, accessible, and fun—for people like me who just want to enjoy collecting without selling a kidney.

I wanted to build something from the ground up using smart tools instead of massive budgets. Think of it as "David vs. Goliath, but David has ChatGPT."

Since it’s just me running this, I’m keeping it UK delivery only for now. It keeps things simple, fast, and means no customs faff for anyone. Plus, I want to focus on building something great for the UK collector scene before expanding to the wild lands beyond.

This shop is my way of pushing back—of trying to bring a bit of balance and sanity back to collecting, and maybe build something fun and sustainable in the process.
